  1. Billy Graham was indeed a great man, and he carried a lot of respect across denominational lines. However, I wished he wouldn't have been so evasive in stating what he meant by "steering clear of politics"? If Christians are to be salt and light to the world we need to speak out against the many injustices that occur through the years. These would include not only slavery and poverty, but also abortion. One cannot remain silent when innocents are being abused or destroyed.
