  1. wherever possible the Sacrament of the Sick should involve the parish community...having experienced both private and public anointing i can tell u it is wonderful experience to receive this sacrament with your community praying with you...when it is not an emergency our pastor always asks if you want to have the community present...i had not encountered that anywhere before.
