  1. Except it has to be the relationship that he prescribes. He forbids you from developing a relationship with God that may lead your conscience, thoughts or actions toward any state of being that may be in conflict with those dictated by the Church,

We all must realize that all wisdom of God is only valid after the pope's infallible interpretation. We can see how this is true when we observe the immaculate behavior of the pope and his flock of priests. Works of charity and social justice must not interfere with the more important political and financial goals of the Church because in order to serve God the Church must be both powerful and affluent.

-Actually Jesus left us a Church, the Catholic Church, with a head to lead us from its very beginning.(Matt. 16:18). He promised the Spirit guide that CHURCH. I'll trust that 2000 year old Churches discernment on matters of faith and morals far more than some freelancer claiming to tap into the will of God on his own.

-Imagine the horror, sinners within the ranks. I'd love to go to your church where the clergy are spotless. Not a Judas among them.
How exactly does the sins of some homosexual pedophile priests prove that church teaching is wrong when their actions are a grave violation of Church teaching?

-Charity and social justice are great but the churches primary mission is getting people to heaven. When you become a secular social worker and do nothing for the soul, or worst yet, you jeopardize it by promoting sin, you've dropped the ball as a Christian. Some peoples ideas of social justice are downright evil. Some think social justice includes promoting the death of the unborn through abortion, the greatest social injustice of our age.
