Rich Warren is the last one that should be making such a statement, after all coming from a his church which is based on emotion more than theology. It makes sense to use this as an emotional response, but he clearly is lacking any theological basis for his call. That call should come from conservative Lutherans who have the depth of theological foundation, and is based on catholic tradition as well. Evangelical Christianity lacks this foundation.
